  • Multi-skilled engineer who can apply fundamental scientific and engineering principles to solve complex engineering problems systematically, creatively and innovatively, with the aids of modern analytical and design tools including research methodology, to contribute to the advancement of ICT engineering knowledge and practice.

  • engineer who is able to communicate and manage effectively as a leader and/or team player in diverse destinations of IT engineering and in multi-disciplinary environment, striving for responsible leadership and engineering innovations.

  1. Apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, and Fundamentals to the solution of complex problems in the core information technologies.

  2. Identify, formulate and analyse the computer system and complex IT engineering problems using first principles of mathematics, Engineering Science and subjects related in IT fields to implement and interpret the results.

  3. Design, implement and evaluate the computer-based solutions of complex problems to meet the desired needs within the realistic constraints such as the public health and safety, societal and environmental issues.

  4. Review and investigate complex IT engineering problems using research based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.

  5. Create, select and apply appropriate current techniques and modern engineering IT tools, including prediction, modelling, designing and implementing to complex engineering problems, with an understanding of the limitations and integrate IT-based solutions into the user environment effectively.

  6. Apply contextual knowledge to assess positive impacts in societal, legal, health, public safety and cultural issues relevant to the professional engineering practice.

  7. Understand and analyse the sustainability and global and local impacts of professional engineering work in the solutions of complex engineering problems in societal and environmental contexts.

  8. Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities of IT engineering and norms of engineering practice.

  9. Function effectively as an individual and as a member or leader to accomplish a common goal in diverse teams and in the multi-disciplinary environment.

  10. Work collaboratively with engineering community and other society on complex engineering activities.

  11. Apply the knowledge of engineering and management principles to manage projects effectively in diverse environments as a member or a leader in the team.

  12. Engage in independent and life-long learning for continued professional development.
