Lingnan University (LU) is the only liberal arts university in Hong Kong emphasizing both the merits and close interrelationship of teaching and research.
Lingnan is one of the universities which can nominate brilliant applicants for the Fellowship award. 
In 2020-21, each Fellowship awardee (Twelfth Round of the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme) will be provided with a monthly stipend of HK$26,600.
